GOLD GREEN JAPAN Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

Article 4 (Change in Purpose of Use)

The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized as having relevance to the original purpose.
When such a change is made, the Company will notify users or publicly announce the revised purpose on this website by the method prescribed by the Company.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent from the user, except in the following cases or when permitted by laws and regulations:
  1. When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult
  2. When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and obtaining consent is difficult

Notwithstanding the above, the following cases are not considered provision to third parties:
  1. When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  2. When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to merger or other reasons
  3. When personal information is jointly used with specific persons, and the items of personal information to be used jointly, the scope of those who use it, their purpose of use, and the name of the person responsible for managing the information are notified to the individual or made easily accessible

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When requested by the individual, the Company shall disclose personal information to the individual to the extent necessary.
However, all or part of the information may not be disclosed if any of the following applies, and in such cases, the Company will notify the individual of the decision.
A handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for disclosure.
  1. If disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
  2. If disclosure may significantly hinder the proper execution of the Company’s business
  3. If disclosure would violate laws or regulations
Notwithstanding the above, the Company will not disclose non-personal information such as history or attribute information.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user finds that their personal information held by the Company is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction, etc.”) in accordance with the procedures established by the Company.
If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request, it shall promptly make the correction, etc.
When the Company has made or decided not to make such correction, etc., it will notify the user of the decision.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)

If the Company is requested by the individual to suspend the use or delete personal information (“Suspension of Use, etc.”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the intended purpose or was obtained by improper means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation.
Based on the results, if it is determined that there is a need to respond to the request, the Company shall promptly carry out the Suspension of Use, etc.
If the Company decides not to do so, it shall notify the user accordingly.
However, if such Suspension of Use, etc. would require excessive cost or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, the Company shall take such alternative measures.

Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except as otherwise provided by law or this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect when posted on this website.
